NotForSaleCampaign.org Launch

Not For Sale

Whew! This was a big one. Last Thursday I finally wrapped up a website revamp project for Not For Sale, a non-profit organization in the fight against modern-day slavery. Prior to taking this project, I was under the assumption that slavery had all but disappeared back in the 1800s, thanks to Honest Abe. But, in fact, there are about 27 million enslaved in the world today, which is more than the total number of slaves in history…combined. Crazy.

I was pleased to have worked with the kind folks at Not For Sale. Their progressive thinking challenged me to push the envelope with this site, which I hope will enable them to accomplish their goals even more effectively.

Mad props to Chester McLaughlin, who helped me tremendously on the development side of this project.

Awesome job, man! It looks and feels really great.

I would have made it way more complex…but that’s just me.

Nate and Chester – I love the http://www.notforsalecampaign.org/ website. Great job! This is a beautiful site – very creatively done, interesting to look at, and easy to use.

I think the work you’ve done on this website for the Not For Sale Campaign is going to attract readership and help the organization do a lot of good by involving people in the fight against modern-day slavery.

I’ll be sure to recommend you whenever I come across any organizations that need website design. Do you by any chance have any experience creating Public Service Announcements? The Coalition Against Human Trafficking in my area is seeking someone to produce a very creative and impactful PSA for us. If you also do that kind of work can you contact me?

    Thx!
    …Sue
